The A1 is a $339 open-frame machine with a bed that reaches 100°C and a hotend that reaches 300°C — which means it prints 4 of our 10 materials clean, 6 more with mods, and none are off the table. It is an open-frame design, so warping-prone materials like ABS and ASA stay off the menu without serious draft shielding.
For carbon-fiber filaments budget a hardened nozzle swap (a $15–30 part) — the stock nozzle will not survive abrasive blends. Multi-color is on the table via AMS lite (optional add-on).
